Enedym has been collaborating with Toyota Tsusho Canada to accelerate development of next-generation electric powertrains to support electric ground support vehicles found on an airport tarmac, including electric tow and pushback tractors.

The success of this collaboration presents the opportunity for Enedym to scale up its production of rare earth metals-free electric propulsion motors for airport ground support equipment.

This project is funded in part by the Government of Canada through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario). The work aims to accelerate this scale up and strengthen the sustainable transportation supply chain within Ontario and the surrounding region.
